The Cisco TelePresence Management Suite Advanced version 2.0 instructor-led remote delivery course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge needed to install Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS) v14.3 and Cisco TelePresence Management Suite Provisioning Extension (TMSPE) v1.1, manage administrative tasks, set up Active Directory users, and provision devices.

Objectives

Upon completing this course, the learner will be able to meet these overall objectives:

  • Install and upgrade Cisco TMS and TMSPE
  • Set up initial settings and Active Directory users
  • Provision endpoints through Cisco Video Communication Server (VCS)

Prerequisites

The knowledge and skills that a learner must have before attending this course are as follows:

  • Cisco TelePresence Basics On-Demand (TBOD) or equivalent knowledge
  • Cisco TelePresence Endpoint Foundation (TEPF) or equivalent knowledge
  • Cisco TelePresence Management Suite Foundation or equivalent knowledge

Or

  • Cisco TelePresence Support and Operations Training

Or

  • Equivalent knowledge

This course is designed for engineers and administrators responsible for installing and configuring Cisco TMS rather than day-to-day TMS operation, which is covered in the Cisco TelePresence Management Suite Foundation course. The primary audience for this course includes:

  • Second and Third level support engineers or engineers responsible for provisioning devices
  • Cisco TelePresence installation engineers
